It's officially spring break! The question is what to do? There is so much I want to get done before little Grace arrives, but it feels a little overwhelming. My mom is coming tomorrow to help me do some of her laundry (okay hope she does all of it:) and I'm going to clean out crap in all the other rooms just because I feel like I will never have time to do this after she comes. 9 weeks seems like so long, yet so short when you think of the time we have been waiting for her. We hit another milestone on Thursday, we now move from once a month doctor visits to every other week, and Grace and I finally hit the 20lb mark. I knew it was coming, but it’s still a little shocking to see the number pop up on the scale.
How far along: 31 weeks
Total weight gain: 21 lbs since 6 weeks
Stretch marks: Nope
Sleep: Surprisingly good lately! Knock on wood, but I have found a position that seems to work for now. I actually slept from 8pm till 8am this morning (with potty breaks)
Best moments this week: watching the baby move my tummy round and round, having Nathan read one of my favorite books to her, seeing the excitement on all the kids faces at school as i get bigger and feeling the weird sensation of her hiccups.
Food cravings: spring rolls from Lao Laan Xang, Parmesan Garlic triskits, oranges, and Now and Laters. Not much else, I haven’t been all that interested in eating lately.
Labor signs: Nope
Belly Button: very small
What I miss the most: being able to buy new cute spring wear, getting tan, not having something hurt at some point in the day and People looking at my face rather than how big my tummy is getting:)
What I am looking forward to the most: 32 weeks, the baby shower, and getting the house organized

Now for the third trimester!
Its crazy how fast this is all going! It seems like a month ago that we were first telling everyone. Now we can't wait to see what the next three months bring! Lets see... not much going on this last week. We went to the doctor again for our regular check up, the last of our monthly appts. Now we go every two weeks. Everything looked and sounded good. Her heart rate was 137, and her growth seemed to be right on track. I feel like, and probablly am getting bigger and bigger by the day! She moves all the time, and we can even see her moving around from the outside.
We also visited the hospital a while ago and actually got to see the rooms, nursery, and got to ask questions. This made it all very real! I'm not very excited about the hospital stay, its a big difference from the hospital in Rapids. With any luck we won't be there more than 48hrs. Looking at the bright side the nurses were very nice, and you have one nurse assigned to you and only you the whole time you are there. Plus you can order whatever you want when ever you want it.
How far along: 28 weeks
Total weight gain: 16 lbs since 6 weeks
Stretch marks?: Nope
Sleep: pretty good, but I've been sick so that makes it a little hard at times
Best moments this week: watching the baby move my tummy round and round
Food cravings: Ravioli, food from a Mexican place in AZ...guess we'll just have to go get some, coffee, and oranges
Labor signs?: Nope
Belly Button: getting smaller
What I miss the most: being able to buy new cute spring wear, getting tan, and People looking at my face rather than how big my tummy is getting:)
What I am looking forward to the most: 32 weeks, and the baby shower!
