Wow! forgot to post this last wednesday...opps!
So we had another doctor’s appointment today. We have one more at two weeks, and then they go to every week. It's kind of weird to think about having to go to the doctor every week. The Doctor predicts that Grace will be somewhere around 7lbs at birth and is almost 5lbs already! The doctor said she is already way down, and is positioned head down exactly the way she should be. Her heart rate was fluctuating between 135 and 141. Her movements have become very strong in the last week. I can feel every little movement and kick (which she dosen't do all that often)It's really strange how strong they are. Nate thinks its really weird!
How far along: 34 weeks
Total weight gain: 25 lbs since 6 weeks
Stretch marks: Nope
Sleep: Hard! Ive been getting up in the middle of the night a lot, then can't get back to sleep. I just lay there and think about Grace, or all the stuff I need to get done both at home and at work. Or worry about all the things that can go wrong during delivery.
Best moments this week: watching the baby move my tummy round and round. She is getting so strong and big which makes for big movements. We also had our first shower this week. It was put on by my school. We got tons of great gifts!
Food cravings: Granola bars, sherbert, Mexican
Labor signs: Some contractions
Belly Button: very small
What I miss the most: Being able to do things and move as quickly as I could when not pregnant. I often have to walk up and down the hall ways or do things out side at school. Everything just takes a little longer. It seems like the clock is always against me. and Mojitos
One thing I would do differently: take time to enjoy what is happening, try to not be due right at the end of the school year, take more pictures.
What I am looking forward to the most: The baby shower, and getting the house organized, my mom coming to help with all her laundry, and going to garage sales to see what we can buy her.
Other stuff: Nausea is back and its getting harder and harder to ride in the car

Our First Shower!
After a long and somewhat stressful on my feet day at work, Nathan and I had our first baby shower today! It was actually surprisingly fun. Neither Nathan nor I really like being up in front of people so publicly, but we both did well:) This was a shower put on by all the wonderful people at work. It was very nice, and yes Nathan did attend! We got tons of great gifts that we both were not expecting. Teachers and other school staff tend to be extremely generous! Some things include a play gym, a Bumbo seat and tray, tons of cute clothes, some books, onsies, hats, towels, bottles, monitors, and even some gift cards. Here are a few of the pics.

unfortunately before Nathan got there.

Lots to do
Its been another busy couple of weeks. Spring break was mainly spent cleaning, organizing and at home in Rapids. All the girls got together and talked about the final touches for our baby shower that is coming up in a few short weeks. Its so weird to think that we only have about 7 weeks before we meet our little girl. It sounds so long, but really this whole thing has gone by so fast. I think I always get caught up in everything that could go wrong and forget about all the really wonderful things that are happening right now. Stay tuned for this weeks pic! I have gotten very big in the last few weeks!!!

Best moments this week: watching the baby move my tummy round and round, getting our first couple of gifts from non family people (one each from someone at mine and Nathans work) and realizing how special this all is!
Food cravings: spring rolls from Lao Laan Xang, oranges, and Now and Laters. Not much else, I haven’t been all that interested in eating lately.
Labor signs: Nope
Belly Button: very small but still there...kind of

Our little Honeydew

Baby’s senses are continuing to improve -- when light peeks in through your (extremely) stretched belly, those tiny eyelids and irises blink and dilate. And, baby can now recognize and react to simple songs… time to start practicing your lullabies! Growth (at least inside your womb) is starting to slow, and you may notice baby descend into your pelvis at the end of this month.
