Grace's Baptism

Grace got baptized last sunday on her 6th week birthday. She was a pretty good girl. she cried a little bit while we were up front, but it was so long I knew she would. She made it and is now baptized. Take a look!

4th of July

Graces First Holiday and her first time up north!

Catching up!

What’s in a month?
Well six weeks to be exact! Could she really be that old already? I’m looking at her right now sleeping under her play gym and wondering when she got so big???

Week 1:
During her first week home, Grace slept a lot! We brought her home on Tuesday, June 8th she weighed 6lbs 8oz and had a mild case of jaundice which sent us back to the doctor for blood work 3 times. It was so weird walking out of the hospital with our own little girl. I remember thinking are they really going to let us leave with her? They did! We got home and Grandma Donna was here to great us. She got us gifts and decorated the house.

During the first week/weekend we had a lot of visitors.
Aunt Janet and Uncle Bill visited the day I came home
Tammy, Chole and Carley visited on Thursday
And both sets of Grandmas and Grandpas plus Aunt Tina and Uncle Jim, Lauren and Lindsey came on Saturday.
We also visited both of our works that week …It was a busy first week of life!
My firsts: Everything was a first I had my first bath at home, sat in my lil lamb bouncy chair and tried out my crib. I also went to the doctor and to target for the first time

Week 2:
During her second week we relaxed a lot more. We spent a couple days at home, just getting to know each other and running little errands. On Wednesday we went to Rapids to meet a bunch of new people and see the Grandmas and Grandpas.
My Firsts: I sat in my infant swing and loved it, had my first bath in a tub and had my first photo session with capturing moments photography!

Happy Fathers Day!!! It was Nathans first Fathers Day this year, We celebrated by staying in bed and playing with Grace all day. Grace got Daddy some books that they could read together and even autographed them with her hand and foot print.

Week 3:
This was a hard week especially for Mommy! Nate went back to work and Grace seemed to be collicy. It was a bit of an adjustment, but we made it through!
My firsts: I went out to eat at Casa Da Laura, used my play matt, and was a mascot at one of mommy’s meetings. Everyone was fighting over who got to hold me. I also had my first bottle and did a great job and Grandma Great came to visit me:)

Week 4:
We spent the week up North for the 4th of July. I turned 1 month old and had my first vacation with mom and dad, grandpa and grandma and the Millers! We had so much fun even though it rained a lot. I have been having a lot of trouble sleeping, but started eating 3 oz bottles

Week 5:
Back at home again. Mommy and I are figuring out a routine. I’m sleeping better and starting to get bigger . Grandma is came on Wednesday and we had our first shopping outing in Johnson Creek. I did a great job! and got lots of new clothes!!! After shopping Grandpa and Grandmas for the rest of the week so mommy could swim and enjoy being "at home"

My firsts: Shopping for the day, My first family wedding and I got Baptized. I also slept for 6 hours stright (only once) and started eating 3 1/2 oz.

this was the last time i could wear my coming home outfit. Daddy said i had high waters already:(
