Grace's 1st Holloween

We went to Rapids to celebrate Graces 1st Holloween! We went to Down on the Farm, Dressed up with Lauren and Lindsey and even Carved some pumpkins.

A family weekend!

We had another weekend filled with family time. Grace is learning so much in the last couple of weeks. Shes really interested in her toes, loves to sing with mommy, and has added so many new sounds to her vocabulary (p, a, h, g, d, b,) she loves blowing spit bubbles, loves eskimo kisses and chewing on her hands. She can sit up well with her legs supported and has become very good at passing toys back and forth between her hands.

Wears 3, 3-6 month and 6 month clothes

Weighed  13.8lbs- almost 40th %ile

Height 25.75" the 95th%ile

Head circumference was the 80th %ile

Height to Weight Ratio is only in the 4th %ile (well work on her chub:)
Drinks 5 oz a time, 5-6 times a day - typically over 25 oz total daily

Sleeps ~9 pm-6:30 am most nights- 10 1/2 hours in a stretch

Smiles when you walk in to get her in the morning

rolls over from front to back and really wants to do it from front to back

Has amped up the teething and must have something in her mouth at all times

Drools a lake daily

Turns and manipulates objects in her hand

Likes to pull her nuk out and try and get it back in. Sometimes she can and some times she can't

Loves to fly on mommys legs like an air plane
Favorite toy right now seems to be her fidigity fish

Likes tummy tickles

Enjoys pat-a-cake and peek-a-boo

Loves singing songs...I had a little turtle, a Peanut sat on a railroad track, The itsy bitsy spider

Loves to smile and talk

Turns when you say her name

Is showing much more interest in Peanut

New Found Love

Last weekend Grace feel in love with a silky blanket at Gma and Gmpas house. I wanted to get her another one, but cant find nice ones anywhere. When all else fails...Do it your self.

16 weeks

Grace had a pretty uneventful week this week. She liked Grandma and Grandpas exersaucer so much we ended up getting her one of her own. Now all she wants to do is sit up:) We also went to get pumpkins for outside. Everyone thought that her pumpkin hat was just about the cutest thing ever!

This week she started to really grab things and bring them to her mouth. She also loves to hold a rattle, and has all of a sudden decided that she needs to be sitting more than laying.
