9 Months Old!

Our little Gracie is 9 months old already! She has grown and changed so much in the short time she has been alive.

At 9 months Grace is:

Is in size 3 diapers

Wears 9 month clothes, although I sneak in my favorite 6 month outfits from time to time and some 12m clothes as well.

Weighed 20 lb 2 oz (gaining about a lb in a month) an is 29 1/2 in tall.

Drinks 6 oz a time, 4 times a day

Now eats a snack or two each day in addition to three meals a day
In addition to the old list of foods, has recently tried meat including chicken, and turkey Other new foods include zucchini, yogurt, Kiwi, multigrain cereal, pancakes, egg yoke, white potato, broccoli, cantalope, aprocot, aspargus, rutabega, parsnip, beets, cheese, grapes, honeydew, watermelon

Is increasing the amount of table food eaten at every meal

Likes to fake cough when she needs some attention and is becoming very clingy to mom and dad. She is also showing lots of stranger anxiety.

Sleeps from 8pm-7am most nights without getting up (lets hope that continues)

Now is super wiggly on the changing table is starting to try and sit up by herself.
Takes 2 longer naps of 1 1/2 hours to 2 1/2 hours a day

Sits like a pro, and could sit there all day if she needed to

stands very well but still takes a tumble here and there

Has scooched a few inches on her back now and then and has just started to pull her self up (only once) on daddy

Loves jumping in the jumperoo- throws back her head and arches her back so it bounces even more
Likes to bang objects together and blow in the connects blocks to make a whistle noise.
loves old silver bowls and her lap top computer. Always wants the remote and Mommys jewlry

Loves peanut...there BFF's she actually laughs everytime Peanut barks. They are just starting to take toys from each other.

Can wave goodbye sometimes, clap her hands and do "so big" once and a while

Says Da da da... all the time

has gone from only two teeth (on the bottom) to four on the bottom and two on the top.

Favorite toy: A stuffed dog puppet, Semore. Also a vibrating grape teether, and a jack in the box that she uses as a drum

Favorite Song: 5 little monkeys ( the alagator version)
Favorite Book: Jungle Babies, The Very Hungery Catapiller and 5 Little Lady Bugs
 
Things I dont want to forget: How she likes to snuggle when she is eating her last bottle.
How she leans in for a hug. She lights up when daddy gets home from work. That she loves her silky blanket. Her huge smile right away in the morning. She loves it when I kiss her hands. She giggles all the time. Loves to pretend and kick people in the face then giggles afterwords. Loves eskimo kisses.
