10 Months Old!
Our little Gracie is 10 months old already! She is such a wonderful little girl and we are so thankful to have her in our lives!
At 10 months Grace is:
Is in size 3 diapers
Wears 9 and 12 month clothes.
Weighed 21 lb 2 oz (gaining about a lb in a month) an is 30 in tall.
Drinks 3-6 oz a time, 4 times a day
Now eats a snack or two each day in addition to three meals a day
She tries pretty much everything we eat. Recently she had her first taste of pickle and donut (not together) other things include watermelon, garbanzo beans,
Likes to smile and giggle to get attention. Loves to pretend to feed mommy and daddy
Sleeps from 8pm-7am most nights without getting up (let’s hope that continues)
Now is super wiggly on the changing table is starting to try and sit up by herself.
She started to scoot on her bottom (instead of her back) pulling with her arms and takes a few steps around our ottomans. She stands very well and will take a few assisted steps
Takes 2 longer naps of 1 1/2 hours to 2 1/2 hours a day
Loves jumping in the jumperoo- throws back her head and arches her back so it bounces even more
Likes to bang objects together and blow in the connects blocks to make a whistle noise.
loves taking anything out of her toy basket until her has tons of toys around her. She always wants the remote and Mommy’s jewelry or shoes.
Loves peanut...there BFF's she actually laughs every time Peanut barks. They love to play together. Peanut will take a toy from Grace and toss it up in the air and chew on it, then Grace will grab it back from peanut and start the whole thing over again.
Can wave goodbye, clap her hands and do "so big" once and a while
Says Da da da, Ma ma ma, Pfffftttt (aka peanut), all the time. She also makes tons of sounds (m,n,d,p,a,t,o)
Has four teeth on the bottom and three on the top.
Favorite toy: Books, stuffed fruit and veggies, a stuffed monkey that moves and plays tick tok.
Favorite Song: 5 little monkeys ( the alligator version)
Favorite Book: Jungle Babies, The Very Hungary Caterpillar, fidgety fish and 5 Little Lady Bugs
Things I don’t want to forget: How proud of herself she is when she scooches to a toy she wants. How she loves to feed herself. How she reaches out to us when she wants a hug or to snuggle. Her big toothy smile. How much she loves it when we smell her feet and say soooo stinky. She giggles all the time. Loves to pretend and kick people in the face then giggles afterwards. Loves Eskimo kisses. How she lights up when kids, or people she hasn’t seen for a while come it.
