We have a 6mo old!

6 months! Half a year old- time has flown by so fast that I'm typing this post over a week late...Opps!

At 6 months, 

Is in size 3 diapers

Wears 3-6 month and 6-9 month clothes 

Weighed: 17lbs 8 oz 48th %ile

Length: 27.5in 78th %tile

head circumference: 18in 89th %ile

Drinks 6oz 5 times a day and eats two solid meals a day. Usually 10am and 6pm

Has enjoyed these food in this order: avocado (:-0), sweet potato (:-)), banana (:-)), peas (:-() Green Beans (:-)), Pears (:-))  he also loves baby num nums

Sleeps in his crib 7:45pm-6:30am with multiple nuk replacements during the night 

Still takes a short nap around 9am, longer one in the afternoon 1-3:30 and a short nap around 6:30

Sits with support very well, and is getting better at sitting all alone. He stands for long periods of time, and knows what he wasn't 

rolls often from side to side by rarely rolls all the way over, but can if he needs to. Yesterday he scooted a bit on his back

He has no teeth and hasn't had any other signs of teething. 
Is proficient at passing a toy from one hand to the other

Turns and manipulates objects in his hand

Can often insert her pacifier into his mouth on his own but likes to chew on it more than suck it

Cries while playing when an adult leaves the room and when a preferred object is taken from him

Poops on average 1 times a day, much more than before he started solid food. 
Likes to play with mom's hair and nose, Dads facial hair, and her silky blanket. 

He loves to be sung to and play peek a boo Loves reading books and talking to everything. He loves watching grace and peanut and jumping in his jumper. He loves to eat, and tummy tickles

Has started to get scared of some strangers, and strange noises

Favorite toy right now seems to be his piano and jumper 

Loves mommy to "eat his tummy" and tickle games

What I don't want to forget: how he snuggles in close when he gets tired, how he wakes up in the middle of the night, smiles at you when you come in, and turns his head and passed out after you give him his nuk. How grace and Gavin love each other so much! She loves to show off and sing for him, and genuinely loves to help him and worries about him when he's sad. He lights up in her presence and she is the first person he looks for in a crowd:) I loves my babies so much!
