11months!

absolutely can not believe my little love bug is 11 months old already. He has grown and changed so fast it truly is hard to believe. We cherish everyday with him.

At 11 months Gavin still loves to try and figure everything out. How something, opens, closes, makes noise, comes apart etc. It surprising how much he really understands. He has started taking to pointing to what ever he wants and expecting someone else to get it for him. He has just started to form real words (dat (that) it dit (get it), hi, bye, Dada) He still is a hold out on saying Mama, but I think he is starting to get a word for Grandma and Sissy. Gavin's favorite thing to play with is any kind of ball. He kicks them, throws them, rolls them back and forth. He simply loves them. He also loves sissys princess horse barn, anything that makes noise and putting balls in the giraffe toy.

He loves to read books, Some of his favorites are ones that you can feel things in, he loves the big bird book, and the I love you book.  


Is in size 3 diapers

Wears 9, 12 and 18 month clothes.

Weighed 23 lb 2 oz (gaining about a lb in a month) an is 31 in tall.

Drinks 3-6 oz a time, 5 times a day

Now eats a snack or two each day in addition to three meals a day.  Recently he had Kiwi, pineapple, beets and spaghetti. He loves Hummas 

Sleeps from 8pm-7am most nights without getting up.

Definitely knows what he wants and protests being taken away from things, unless its sissy taking it away, then he just watches her (lets see how long that lasts)

Is starting to understand how the world works

Takes 2 longer naps of 1 1/2 hours to 2 1/2 hours a day.

Likes to bang objects together and blow in the connects blocks to make a whistle noise.

No teeth yet, but we hope they are coming soon

Favorite toy: Balls,

Favorite Song: Baby Monkey, anything really

Favorite Book: Big Bird, teddy bear ready bear, shake it baby

Things I don’t want to forget: How he points and says dat... at almost everything, how he loves it when I pretend to eat his tummy, how he kicks his feet to communicate that he's really super happy, how he loves to plya with my necklace, and push my face away only to have me look and say hi again. How he will look back to see if something is ok before doing it. How he always has to come and peek at me if I'm in another room. Especially the bathroom. He adores Grace, how he smiles when we walk into rooms after bring away, and waves goodbye with a pointed finger.
