13 months
Gavin's first birthday feels like so long ago! Since then Gavin has grown and changed so much. He understands almost everything we say, and ask him to do. He says so many words (MaMa, DaDa, This, Get it, Mine, Ball, ahnut (peanut) ahyee (gracie) His favorite thing to do is point at things and say, “This” like whats that called. He still loves to play with balls, listen to books, be outside, snuggle, and try to open and close everything.
Favorite Book: Buzz Buzz says the bee, and peek a boo I love you
Favorite song: Anything the kid loves songs:)
Favorite toys: Balls or blocks
Since his birthday, Gavin has moved from bottles to Milk and is eating almost exclusively table foods. He has gone from one tooth just popping through to 6 teeth all coming in at the same time. That hasn't phased him a bit. Hes still his smiley loving self. He is still far from walking, and actually has no interest in standing up. (totally fine with this mama)
He spent his first night away from mommy and daddy, and I had my first day not getting to feed him since forever:( he was in good hands with Grandma and Aunt teen teen, while mommy and daddy came back to Madison to go to work.
He also had his one year pics taking, and they are all adorable. I can actually choose which ones to order they are so good! We also spent time at a family wedding in door county and celebrated my second mothers day with my baby boy.
He is a special gift we treasure beyond measure. Love you snuggle bug!
Things I don't want to forget:
He loves to hang out in the kitchen while I make dinner so he can get snacks
Falling alseep on the trolley at megan's wedding
making funny noises with his nose(this is new)
His temper when he can get something he wants, or someone takes something away from him, or he has to lay down to get his diaper changed.
