No time to rest!

Things have been kind of crazy lately, but we have now entered the time that we can only go 30 miles from Madison safely. I am hoping things might slow down a bit because they have been crazy lately! This week we had our first Childbirth class. It went really well and was surprisingly informative. I hope to fit a few more in before Grace makes an appearance.

I also started once a week doctors appts. All was well; the doctor said she is head down and pretty low. Her heart rate was around 135, and she was measuring right on track. I have been feeling lots of pressure and a few contractions here and there. Nate predicts May 21st and I say June 12. Don’t know why just think she will be late. All we have to do is pack the hospital bag, and attach the changing pad. Otherwise I think we are all ready...or as ready as we can be!

How far along: 36 weeks

Total weight gain: 28 lbs since 6 weeks

Stretch marks: Nope

Sleep: Hard! I’ve been getting up in the middle of the night a lot, and then can't get back to sleep. I just lay there and think about Grace, or all the stuff I need to get done both at home and at work. Or worry about all the things that can go wrong during delivery.

Best moments this week: Going to the doctor and hearing that I am 1 cm dilated and 20% effaced! Were so excited

Food cravings: Nothing, food seems to be the enemy lately. Nate has to continually make me eat something. Everything sounds blah and inevitably we don’t have what i want when i want it then by the time Nate goes to get it I’m over it:) One thing I had to have when i went to the store was salt and vinegar chips.

Labor signs: Some contractions and lots of pressure

Belly Button: Gone:)

What I miss the most: Being able to do things and move as quickly as I could when not pregnant. I often have to walk up and down the hall ways or do things out side at school. Everything just takes a little longer. It seems like the clock is always against me. Also Mojitos and wearing the clothes I want to (especially my jeans)

One thing I would do differently: take time to enjoy what is happening, try to not be due right at the end of the school year, take more pictures.

What I am looking forward to the most: Meeting our little girl!

Other stuff: Nausea is back and its getting harder and harder to ride in the car and walk around. I haven't been swollen at all, but one day this week I woke up and my rings and some shoes don’t fit. Hope she comes soon!
